NMA organises climbers' meet

Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) on June 21 organised a special meeting of climbers to address the woes and difficulties that they are facing professionally.

For the last many months, NMA has been trying to counter the causes that lead to dissatisfaction and discontentment among hundreds of mountain climbers. The main issues discussed were of social security from the government's side to the climbers and their families on retirement and in the unfortunate event of a climbing accident leading to death or injury.
